Experience
After working for several years in the industry as an information system analyst I decided to combine my knowledge of Math and Engineering with my passion for teaching and working with children and completed a unique education certification program for graduates of the Technion called “Mabatim” which includes a second BA in Education and a teacher certification. My teaching experience includes student teaching of Mathematics at the middle school and high school level and two years of working as a Hebrew teacher as part of my military service working with new immigrants and children from disadvantaged backgrounds between the first and sixth grade. As a Math teacher, I believe that an important part of the teacher role is to conduct each student's learning progress and support it. I also believe that interpersonal interaction, exploration and enjoyment should be an important part of the learning process, so my lessons usually progresses through student research, conversations, and achieving new knowledge by using their existing knowledge.
