I am a first generation Latina college student with an undergraduate degree in Biology from General University of Massachusetts-Boston. I am now in pre-med and my career goal is to become a forensic pathologist. I volunteer with community non-profit organizations to build playground for young children and offer support and guidance to students who have dropped out of school. I have been tutoring since I was a high school student, both with younger students and my peers. I especially love seeing girls shine in Math and Science, as there are so many career opportunities for them in the STEM fields.
