Hi! I've been tutoring for three years now, and I absolutely love it. From working with immigrant students learning English to students studying for the stressful standardized tests, I get a real joy in being able to help bring out the best in students. While they certainly don't tell you all you need to know about a person, my test scores are below: SAT: 1570 out of 1600 PSAT: 1520 out of 1520 AP US History: 5 out of 5 AP US Gov and Politics: 5 out of 5 AP Calculus AB: 5 out of 5 SAT Math Level II Subject Test: 800 out of 800 SAT US History Subject Test: 790 out of 800 I take pride in working with my tutees to help them not only enhance their understanding of the curriculum, but also find the motivation, study skills, discipline and joy that are necessary to truly excel in the classroom. I often feel like I'm trying to balance the nerd in me with the little kid in me. The nerd devours The Economist every week, while the young at heart side of me wants me at the park every day playing basketball or throwing a frisbee around. Otherwise, you can find me going for runs, reading, or enjoying the occasional round of Xbox -- and of course, all of that is better with family and friends.
