I am a recent graduate of Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA with a degree in music and a minor in Italian. I will begin my masters in music at BU this September.
Experience
I tutored in all major subject areas for 2 years in middle school, 4 years in high school, and on a time-permitting basis during college. I am a National Merit Scholar, was the Valedictorian of my high school, and graduated Magna Cum Laude on the Dean's List from Pepperdine University. I love tutoring because I love helping kids learn and discover new things. I have completed math through Calculus 1. I have taken high school level Biology, Physics, and Chemistry. I was an AP student in Math, English, and History. I have taken College level Psychology, sociology, Math, American and Chinese histories, Political Science, English literature and Philosophy, Humanities, German, and Italian. I also have eleven years of classical voice training and 8 years of piano training. I can give lessons in voice, piano, and music theory and composition (these musical subjects have a different rate).

Hobbies
I have a very wide array of hobbies and interests. Currently, I am studying to be an opera singer and composer, and I am also studying Italian so that I can live in Italy and pursue my dream of becoming an opera singer. Before I wanted to become an opera singer, I was studying to be a doctor. I am a very athletic and outgoing person. I played various sports, but played soccer continuously for 10 years. I love traveling, cooking, reading, and having fun, new, and memorable experiences. I have always loved teaching. Even when I was in the 5th grade, I remember that I would make sign-up sheets for my classmates so that I could help them with their homework!
