Experience
I teach reading in a public elementary school. In addition to my classroom teaching experience, I have also worked as a private tutor in a variety of subjects, including French, History, Reading, and Writing. I feel strongly about helping kids find the path to successful academic lives, whether in a formal classroom setting or elsewhere. I strive to instill diligence and a solid work ethic in my students, while encouraging them to keep their minds open. I believe effective tutoring is built on relationships. In addition to the subjects listed above, I am available to tutor in Elementary Math, Literature, Grammar, Geography, and Social Studies. I also assist with study and organizational skills. When I'm not teaching or tutoring, I like to run, play golf, cook, read, and spend time with my friends and family.
