Experience
I received my Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Bowdoin College in 2014. While I was in college, I directed an SAT preparation program. I also tutored college students in calculus, and high schoolers in algebra 2. I worked as a teaching intern for two summers. I am currently planning on gaining my teaching license for high school-level math. I believe that my flexible and patient manner makes me approachable to my students. With my past experiences working with students, I have gained the tools needed to ensure that each student succeeds. I believe that each student is unique, and that they all learn differently. It is important that I tailor each session to help the student the most. I believe that I can connect with each student, and make sure to change my style to help best fit each students' needs. In addition to calculus and algebra, I also tutor elementary and middle school math and precalculus, and test preparation for the GRE, ACT, and SAT. In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis, cooking, and baking.
