Experience
I was President of a non-profit organization called TERC that specializes in research and development in science and mathematics education and the use of technology in education (2007 - 2014). I was a professor at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA from 1985-2007 teaching statistical methods to graduate students. I also taught mathematics at the University of Massachusetts in Boston from 1975 - 84 in a college that focus on adult learners. I have been recognized as an excellent teacher and enjoy greatly having my students succeed!

Hobbies
I am very much still involved in efforts to improve mathematics and science education for both younger and older students. When not working I enjoy all forms of music, the fine arts, travel and a good game of chess. During my many years in education I have tutored students of all ages.
